Alot of nick nacks
This was a really nice Goodwill when it opened. Clean, wide aisles. Staff was and is good and friendly. A few problems: they got a nice new overhead sound system in which was great, it was needed. But now the music is seriously BLARING, they won't turn down the volume! We've complained a few times. We can't hear each other talking, we told them. No luck. So now we just breeze throught the store rather than browse b/c it's such an auditory overload. Also, they have signs designating areas like electronics. This used to be AWESOME -- you could hunt for whatever electronic part you needed in one spot. Now, stuff is just everywhere. We asked about that, too. Were told it makes you look around more. No, it doesn't. Not fun to search, especially when your ears are bleeding. Prices seemed to have creeped up a bit, not terribly, but too much for donated goods. This is still a good Goodwill. Still great staff. Just wish they'd go back to the good environment set up they had in the beginning which put customers first.
I go to Independence for this Goodwill because it's my favorite .. i live over 3hrs away but it is so clean and the employees are absolutely amazing. Well worth the drive for me.
While trying g on a blouse,I lost one of my favorite earring.I noticed it when I got home and called the store.The girl that answered was so kind and found my earring in that room.I am so thankful for her.Thank you,I didn't get her name!!!!
